At Sharp Tudhope we provide advice on all matters concerning the Resource Management Act 1991, and issues concerning local councils.  We advise clients across a broad range of areas, such as land developers, landlords, clients with multiple property interests throughout the Bay of Plenty and beyond, tertiary institutions, the farming community, community interest groups, and iwi.

We advise on:

  • Large and small scale subdivisions;
  • Designations;
  • Public Works Act issues such as compulsory acquisition of land and injurious affection;
  • Plan changes including private plan changes and project development;
  • Environmental prosecution;
  • Building Act enforcement action;
  • Heritage issues resulting from District Plans and/or the Historic Places Trust; and
  • Environmental due diligence.

Our team regularly appear in the Environment Court and regularly engages with Councils on behalf of clients.
