I have been with Sharp Tudhope Lawyers for eight years. I was born and bred in Tauranga and joined as a legal assistant, qualifying as a Legal Executive in 2003, providing assistance to the Business Team.
My duties include company administration, financing, Personal Property Securities Register (PPSR), general commercial and company law. I also have experience in business/residential conveyancing and leasing work.
I thrive on being under pressure to complete a job to a high standard within time constraints. We work very much in a team environment, with each member adding their expertise where needed.
I feel really valued as an employee because the partners had enough confidence in my work to permit me to make a smooth transition from maternity leave to returning to work on reduced hours.
There’s a wealth of knowledge in the Business Team, and the partners have always been very keen to share it so that the rest of us can continue to increase our skills.
I want to keep advancing to further enhance my capabilities as a company specialist in the firm.
